The Travel Trade
As we progress our eco-tourism journey we are keen to work with the Travel Trade to welcome guests from around the world to Hepple.
Hepple Wilds is a bold 4000-acre rewilding project in Northumberland, England. We appeal to visitors who enjoy premium, guided access to beautiful nature, historic iron-age hill forts, nature-friendly farming and truly stunning scenery. The estate is also home to the revered Hepple Spirits Distillery, producing their flagship Hepple Gin. Our experiences are personal and immersive, with nature providing an ever-changing offer.
We exclusively work with small groups and FITs, via tour operators, DMCs and travel designers building curated itineraries and looking for distinctive, off-the-beaten-track access for outdoors-focused travellers.

Your Guide to the Wild
Hello! At the heart of many of our private experience is our in-house Ecologist & Guide, Richard — a familiar face in these hills, having grown up in the surrounding landscape. His deep-rooted connection to the area brings an added layer of insight, from local history to the subtle changes in the land that only years of close observation reveal.
Richard combines this local knowledge with a strong academic background in conservation, alongside years of hands-on experience leading birdwatching tours and exploring everything from botany to fungi. A qualified Hill and Moorland Leader with outdoor first aid training, he brings both expertise and reassurance — but it’s his easy manner, curiosity, and genuine enthusiasm for the natural world that make time spent with him so memorable. Whether you’re hoping to spot wildlife, learn more about rewilding, or simply enjoy being out in the landscape, Richard shapes each experience around you.
